Does this mean you can use Legend brakes?

http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30097
This shit is real confusing because when i did the 5 lug conversion on my prelude, it was known fact that you could either use prelude Vtec calipers, Legend Type II calipers, OR NSX calipers.

Okay so follow me.

You can use these, on the prelude,

And on the accord you could use them as well. 06 v6 coupe.

These will also work on the s2000.

Which to me means that the S2000's oem calipers would theoretically work on an 06 v6 coupe.

But the s2000 calipers wont work on a prelude. (according to all the prelude forums I've read)

confusing i know...

I did the legend brake upgrade on a civic and every time I wanted to change rotors, I'd have to re-drill the Prelude rotors to fit 4x100 brake pattern. It got old real quick. Having to order custom rotors a couple times a year is the same thing. It would get old.

Considering you were wrong about how the brakes bolt on. I don't have much faith in "cheap custom rotors". How about researching the cost of a custom rotor and getting back with us with a real price? Saying it's a reasonable price isn't the same as seeing the real price. RL rotors are $53 each from Napa.

As for the other brakes. I have the 02 CL brakes bolted on right now. I only can speak for them. I haven't tried the 99's but, I do know what pad they use.

Order one shipped overnight?

I don't know of any local places that stock S2K rotors - maybe you do.

Or maybe just keep a spare set at your house

No need for anyone to get all pissy in here, Lets work together to get this resolved.

Anyways, A person can actually just bolt these on and go. Its that simple. So, there are ways to get around milling, yes.

Now, If you want to be able to return to stock quickly, milling the knuckle will not help in that.

Milling will be required to run RL calipers and I think thats where things start to get crazy.

I honestly think EK9B18 shoudl start a new thread, with your setup and what you've done to get to where its at. Then, Should we get into milling "stuff", another thread should be started for that.

I dont see how a 3mm difference will allow the pad to slip!!! If that’s the case you can just cut a 3 mm shim between the piston and the pad. Anyhow if someone can answer my question I can perhaps go buy those calipers and give you guys real track data... but so far I did not get an answer

are we talking about 99 CL V6? If so what is the difference between the 02 CL caliper and the 99?

If I get an answer I will go buy them

02 uses a bigger, less common pad. I already have the 02's installed. Why not try the 99's?

common is not a problem. Carbotech will make the pad you want for the same price... I think I am going to try the 99 CL

is it the V6 model?

Thanks
