I say leave it! Take all your spare tire shit out, get a lighter exhaust with a tp, swap some parts out for carbon fiber ones, lighter wheels will help to. Like somebody else suggested pull out the motors and make it a manual droptop!

If you can make it out the entire spring/summer/fall without going top down, you can delete it. 60 lbs is just then dead weight for your S.

For reals dude... soft top ftw... go to the gym everyday, eat 200 calories a day for a month and you will lose at least 40lbs.

if there's any chance you use your soft top, just leave it in.
