Default AEM EMS

I am looking to get an EMS for my 04. Can anyone verify that the 30-1052 (v1) works for 2000-2005? or is there a specific version for the 04-05?

There are a few used 1052s on the market for about $8-900, whereas the lowest I've seen a new series 2 sell for is $1250

I appreciate the feedback guys!

Series 2 has new software but I think the best part is the fixed temp gauge

they sort of fixed it. joeyballs in FI section has the series 2 and its still buggy. better off getting the modifry fix and calling it a day.

which ever aem ems you get, get the U version. 1052U series 1 gets my vote, i run that in my car for over 2+ years no probs.

See I disagree. I prefer an external wide band. They can preform better, can have an external A/F gauge and have a lower cost for both the unit and replacement sensors.

my aem wideband reads what i belive to be correct. it interfaces into the software so i can run with 02 feedback, a huge plus, displays thru my aem serial gauge and reacts fast, and when the sensor goes bad its 40 bucks to replace it.

i bought my setup used, and has been great for 2+ years, 14k+ miles, and over 10k+ miles of that boosted.

ehh, i dont know, i guess i like everyting in one place as opposed to seperate systems.

buddy of mine did an external wideband into his aem and it never worked as well as mine.
