The relay is sealed but the connections are most certainly not... Accidents happen. Let us know what happens the first time you accidentally get it wet

I don't think your mounting location is terrible but I HIGHLY recommend heat shrink around those connections and (at minimum) a wrapping of electrical tape.

More then two years later, and I've washed the engine bay several times - you are overly concerned. God the internet can be too much sometimes.

it's small touches like this that maintain the reliability of a car. it's better to put in the little bit of extra effort (generally, you should never have exposed wires) to prevent headaches later on.

perhaps 4 years from now, your horn stops working and you spend 3 hours troubleshooting just to find that it got wet and you short circuited shit
