Default Airlift kit and Winter tires or Daily driver?

Hi everyone! So I am new to the s2k world and I have no actual clue about how s2000's drive in the winter. I am coming from a Subaru WRX, so I am kind of used to that in the winter. My main question is, how does the s2000 drive in the winter? I currently have the money to buy either an airlift performance kit and a set of snow rims/snow tires, or I can buy a daily driver for the snow. It doesn't really snow very often in the winter here (southern Illinois). The way my s2000 sits right now, I do not want to drive it in the winter (skunk 2 springs), but if I can raise and lower the car with bags, I wouldn't mind. Obviously this is my own decision to make, but I am just wondering how everyone feels driving their s2k's in the snow!

I live 40 mins out of chicago, and I refuse to drive my s2000 in winter. I uninsure it and swap insurance to my civic. in my opinion, you should spend the money u can spend on a set of bags and buy a winter beater for winter. As you said, its completely your choice, but thats my 2 cents

I would buy a fwd/AWD beater and keep the rust off your s2000!

An S2000 with "bags" driving around in winter? Please no. Purchase an inexpensive beater/daily driver.

This

It simply isn't a great idea for numerous reasons. Safety being a big one of them.

Stock springs and snow tires will be more than enough for most of what winter can throw at you. Might struggle on fresh 10 inch snowstorms but so will most things.

I drove my s2k a bit on snows 2 years ago, and its flawless.

If I can drive in Ohio weather with, first SS595 and now RE760, a set of snow tires is all you need. It should drive flawlessly with a proper sized set of snows.
