An exhaust shop should be able to make you a new piece if it comes down to it.

If A&J can't get the piece just go to a muffler place and see if they can weld a piece for you.

I bought Sparrow brand new and it comes with TP, which is the red circled piece in your pic. I guess he kept the TP and sold the exhaust to you.

I have the test pipe on my car, that piece is actually another piece that goes between the resonated pipe and the actual muffler section.

Its not so bad honestly. Its just a small pipe an exhaust shop can do it no problem and you still got the exhaust nice and cheap.
