Ap1 plastic 4 Ap2 glass

Default Ap1 plastic 4 Ap2 glass

i have about 60,000 miles on my 01 ap1 and the plastic in the back window is a little beat up and scratched... i am wondering is it possible to swap the ap1 plastic for the ap2 i think it is plexi glass but im not sure... my friend has an ap2 and i like the glass but didnt know if the swap was possible..

appriciate any help

the ap2 window is glass.. and you'd have to switch tops completely.

Looks at the size difference. Did you really think you'd be able to swap just the back part?

do u guys know how much just a plastic peice would be to replace the stock one?

I don't know the exact price, but from what I've read the cost to replace the plastic is not worth it compared to installing an aftermarket top that is retrofitted to the glass window.
