Default AP1 vs AP2

I'm looking to replace my right rear 1/4 panel, tail lights, cat exhaust, and rear bumper. Can you guys tell me if I get parts from an AP2 s2000 that it will fit an AP1 body? TIA.

Not 100% on rear quarter panel. Everything else will fit.

How in the world are you going to replace the rear QP? Isn't it welded to the unibody?

Yes it is welded on. It has to be cut off and the new panel needs to be welded on.
When I got in an accident that was done to one of my rear quarters.

for the ap2 tail lights you also have to cut your holes bigger to mount the lights.

theres a template you can get from HTguy so it will be easier to know where to cut for the taillights.

...the AP2 quarter panel would come with the correct cut out for the lights, wouldn't it? I'm pretty sure the quarter panel encompases the lights.

Rear bumper will need small spacers added for the lower bolts/clips but otherwise fit fine.
