Default ap2 differential in ap1?

hey guys i was wondering if the ap2 differential will swap right into my00 ap1 with no problems and just bolt right on? what does it take to make this work if it isnt a simple bolt on? im coming up on an ap2 diff but dont want to take it if its too many problems to put this thing on...HELP!...

Hi The only difference is the way the differential hooks up to the prop shaft.
If you have the ap2 prop shaft, the easiest way is to switch the connectors at the tranny. If not, you have to change the connector on the differential.
