Thumbs up AP2 front bumper on AP1

I read through the DIY on the 2004 AP2 front bumper upgrade on the AP1, but I have a few questions.

I understand that I need
-Bumper Cover
-Grill
-Grill hardware
-Toe hook cover
-License plate plugs

I want to know about the bumper hardware to connect it to the car. Do I reuse the hardware from my AP1 front bumper? If anyone could let me know of the additional parts I may need would be great

You'll also need the undertray.

Undertray?

You mean the fender liners?

I thought you could use the 2004 fender liners and the middle tray?

you dont really need the fender liner... it would be ideal if you did but most of the bolts line up except for the ones closest to the sides of the car.

It's also suggested that you trim down the area behind the bumper or you will get "dimples" on the bumper.

There's a good thread in the talk section that will show you the area to cut.

Good luck!

I agree with everyone posts except about the undertray needed to be changed. You will only be able to get a few of the bolts to line up but its not a big deal. I have the whole AP2 set up on my AP1.
