ok even I know that the tournado type things do not work.
Or do they?????????????
I would seems to me that anything you stick in the air path will choke the intake?

For the record snorkels are used by divers
And my wife is the bread winner in the house lol she drives a Merc slk lol.

Snorklers on the other hand, kind of a requirement.
