Default Aux input adapter

I'm looking to install an aux in my stock radio unit. Idk why I'm having so much trouble looking for one. 03' model. I searched old forums but the links they provided for the aux adapter doesn't exist anymore.

On another of my cars I just used a Bluetooth to FM unit that works pretty well. It is kinda bulky, and I thought about just rewiring the cig plug and hiding the unit under the dash but never have. But in any case the sound quality is fine and did not require any wiring to be run so it was a quick solution. The only downside is if you are in an area where there are so many nearby stations that you get interference. But in Mpls St Paul that has only hapened a few times to me.

The one I have is the Nulaxy KM18. $16 so again, a very cheap quick option. It also has an aux input on it along with a USB port for charging.

I'm going to look into it. I'm in South Florida not sure how it would work out. Also I would have to see where I would place it thanks

I tried a few cheap eBay aux adapters, and none worked. One of them worked for a day or two and then stopped for no reason. I then bought a "GROM MBUSA1" adapter. About $60, plugs into the back of the stock stereo, and I routed the aux wire through the vent above the radio door. It's been perfect, and I've had it for 2+ years. A little pricy, but cheaper than getting an aftermarket stereo.

are you keeping stock unit to keep the car original, or you dont wanna shell out for one with aux included? Im really not a fan of the stock unit myself so instead of buying an oudated and overpriced adaptor, id just put that cash on a nice deck with tilt function as well.

i use Roidmi on my del sol and its good enough, but i know its not what you asked for

Roidmi 30$ Roidmi 30$

I bought a FM transmitter as Engifineer did. Honestly it is simple and works great. I honestly dont wanna spend much on a new radio. Besides, when VTEC hits, I can't hear anything in the car

I vote for springing for a good new HU. It will provide a heck of a lot of functionality and it does not cost much at all to do it.

You won't break the bank, you can spend as little as 40$ on a deck with aux.

40$ unit on amazon 40$ unit on amazon
