Axial flow short shifter anyone?

Axial flow short shifter anyone?
For those who have one , does this shifter significantly have the pivot points changed versus the stock one, or is it more of just a change in height of where the shift knob will sit?

Alright, just got my axial flow short shifter today from a fellow member. Made a close side by side comparison and it looks like the pivot point is changed slightly but not much at all. You can see this from the pivot cover design versus the stock one. After I got it installed ,it is more obvious at least from I can see and feel, it gets its shorter throws more from the shorter height rather than a raised fulcrum point.Y

A countersunk knob will also get you shorter shifts due to lower knob height. They also feel amazing in hand. You will want a leather cover in case you leave the top down in the sun though.

Thought I'd chip in here since I designed it and build it.
There is a change in the pivot point, you may not be looking right at it.
There is a change in the stick but also the pivot basket is changed.
We make our own parts unlike others who use Honda parts.
This gives use the ability to change things.
The hieght is also lowered by a small amount.
The amount it was lowered was set by listing to people on this forum.
We talked about it and the hieght was taken by from guys requests.
There are other threads that talk about this.
At Axialflow we strive to consider the who package and feel is at the top of the list.
This helps you not miss a shift. It also gains confidence so your lap times come down.
We've been building these for over 8 years and have made slight changes here and there
to improve things.

I can actually see on the pivot cover design and in the bigger upper basket the design changes. It looks more obvious in the pivot cover where the smaller ball end is made longer by making the ball go in deeper into the pivot cover. Looks like the ball might be bigger as well. The upper bigger pivot basket looks like it brings up that section up a little too. So far I like the way it is working. It would be nice if the shifter leaned a little more to the driver side and back a little. I might throw it up on a vise and bend it like that someday. I'm using the Maven knob that is NOT countersunk, and it is pretty low as it is. One thing I do like is and what I was hoping for was to be able to shift with only a flick of my wrist, or without having to move my arm off the armrest. A little stiffer, but that was expected anyway. Shifts feel very direct.

^You need to try a Voodoo knob with your AxialFlow, the set up will feel like a gaming joystick. There will be some buzz if you have an original AxialFlow as the Voodoo is a light knob but hell the S is a noisy car anyway even bone stock.
