Axle/trans
The power that the car makes or is capable of making is not the issue as much as it is the driver
There are many here with Super chargers and Turbo kits running a stock drive train with no issue. There are also many here that are bone stock and break axles, diffs, and transmissions.
I myself broke my Comptech diff at a drag strip on only my second pass. The Comptech strap was still in place but, the LSD was toast. My car has only I.H.E. and at the time an Exedy Hyper single 6 puck clutch.
A poor connection between the seat and steering wheel caused the diff to break. Oh, and the aggressive clutch did not help things either
You need to be smooth with the car, a good driver goes a long way in keeping things together. A very simple example of this is seen in a cheesy car movie staring Tom Cruise
