For an interesting data point: In my autocross class (STR) I can't use an O2 fooler or run the 2nd O2 sensor outside the exhaust stream. I got Berk to put the O2 bung where it the stock one is on my HFC - no CEL after about 3000 miles.
It has very beautiful welds on it. They put a lot of time into it - either with manual welding or getting a robot programmed well.
It did stink a LOT when I first got it. Like someone was burning a full diaper in my exhaust. Like a bit of plastic and a bit of poop. Yuck! But that cleared up after a couple of weeks of daily driving.
Now it has a tiny bit of that 'test pipe' smell but not very much at all. If a standard cat is considered a 1 and a test pipe is considered a 10, the Berk HFC is a 3.
