does the berk hfc mate with the asm 60 without issue?
As long as the 60mm is build correctly then yes it will mate. The 70mm is made very far off the factory centerline of the exhaust which is why there's an issue with that one. If the ASM 70mm was close to correct then there would be no issue with that exhaust.

Just get under your car and look at the very back of the tunnel, if the 60mm is within 1/3 to 1/2 inch on the driver side then it probably won't work.

Basically the Berk cat does not follow the same path as the stock cat. The exit ends up between 1/4 and 1/2 inch to the driver side and about 1/8 inch higher that the stock cat.

If you have that amount of clearance with your setup now, you will be fine.
I can confirm that (roughly, didn't measure it)

But I can state it clears with my T1R 70 V2

Great thread and sounds like a great product.
I am seriously considering placing an order but wanted to see if anyone/ Berk has had fitment issues installing the HFC on an AP2 with Mugen Header/ Exhaust?

No problems. The only exhaust that is f'ed up is the ASM 70mm. The ASM exhaust fitment is crap and doesn't play well with our HFC.

I believe the issue is that the AP1 and AP2 stock cats are slightly different and the aftermarket cats are derived off the AP1. This isn't verified yet, but I should know for sure in the next two weeks. It's only a 10mm difference though so most people won't have a problem.

FYI all, the Berk is good cat for the money, just didn't work with my system.
