Default Best TP for stock?

Whats the best or right size test pipe for a stock 2000 or Ap1 exhaust system?
What else should I do to get the most gains from this mod? Is there a way I can tune it myself?

Thanks for your help!

Either one works. Header outlet is 63mm and stock exhaust is 60mm. I had both 60mm and 63mm test pipes, no difference between the two. Honesly I don't think you will any gain unless you tune the car. I gotta test with stock exhaust and I raced another s2k with OEM catalytic converter and we were pretty much even.

Stock piping is best paired with 60mm test pipe or 63mm as mentioned. I have an ARK 63mm test pipe for sale with check engine light fix. PM me if interested.

HOw come you decided TP and not a HFC. Ive heard a few times that a HFC is the better way to go. Can anyone explain this for me? I also want to stray far a way from raspy/drone noise.

Hfc is better for the environment while a test pipe has more potential. Not a whole lot of potential but a little bit more. If you hug trees tight then you will hate yourself less with a Hfc. If you don't then the test pipe will be kinder to your wallet.
