I'm fairy sure that all AP2 stock strikers are the same as they are in the kit that come with hardtops.

its an oem top. i dont have any of the parts from the kit. im starting from scratch. my ap1 00' strikers are pretty worn so i'd figure i'd replace them with the hardtop/ap2 ones and i know for sure i need the rear latches but is there anything else i need to put my friends hardtop on my car? his is an 06' ap2.

Im using the stock strikers on my mooncraft ht, they are a really tight fit, but they hold the ht on really well. I havnt seen where its a problem to use the stock ones.

The Shine top is about 14lbs for both pieces. It is not weatherproof/waterproof.
it's not weatherproof? how hard would it be to make it weatherproof?

I have a question guys... my friend has a BB oem hardtop and we'd like to switch off from time to time. what parts would i need to make this possible? i asked Honda for the hardware but they said that they dont sell the hardware kit, that they sell every part individually. so the guy said find out what parts you need and we'll order it. so im like... uhhhh.. stuck on what parts i need really... i know for sure i need hardtop strikers right? and i need those latches in the back? but i can't think of any other stuff? his is an 06' and mines is an 00'. can anyone help me with this dilemma? i really wanna put this hard top on my car already!
check out the first thread.... i posted everything you need to install a non-OEM hardtop (weather-stripping stuff). For OEM, you only need the strikers (not necessary), latches, catches, and defroster wiring. that's it.

I piece mailed it from Majestic Honda and got it cheaper than what HTG was selling it for.

oem hardtop FTW in my opinion its the best looking and fitting top there is and the huge rear window is great ..if it was up to me i would have included a hardtop with every s2000 ..it completes the look
