Default Bought a seat with non-S2000 rails on accident

I bought some seats after mine being stolen. The driver's goes in fine, but the passenger seat will not bolt in and sits 3 inches higher than the driver's seat. I'm guessing they're Civic/Integra rails or something. The seller says he didn't know they were non-s2000 rails - who knows

What can I do, short of buying a new pair of seats (nobody will part out just a passenger seat)? I have an extra driver's side rail, will that bolt onto the passenger seat if I can cut the tabs and weld to fit in the car?

Will aftermarket rails fit onto stock seats? I don't know what to do here

EDIT: Now I'm reading around and see that BYS makes them but there's no way I'm paying $300 for a passenger seat rail. also, now I have to worry about possibly needing to change the seat pan. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Wow maybe that's it I've read that too. He said they were ap2 but thought they were 04. Mine is 00.

He did say that they were in some other non-s2k car before and that he put new rails on that he thought were "ap2 rails" but never used in his car because he wanted red seats instead.

Again, I found that out last night but did not make the connection. This would be awesome news if so! The left side of the seat looks like it will bolt in but the right side (next to door) is waaaay off. The front part of the rail looks like its almost hitting the wall the goes up to the bottom of the door.

I'll try to find an 06+ near me and see if it will fit, then maybe I can trade with someone who wants to put news seats in their 00-05.

Quick question though: would the newer passenger rail make the passenger seat sit higher?

Do the seats have holes in the head rest area?

If they don't they are 06+ AP2 seats and the passenger side rail is in fact different than what you need.

I know the difference- I have the 00-05 seats. However, the rails on the seat are at least the third set that have been on it. Apparently the guy bought them from someone that had them in a non-s2000 and bought some s2000 rails to put on. If that is in fact true, he might've bought 06+ rails not knowing the difference.

He probably forgot which car he stole them out of.

I am in the same quest to replace missing seats in a car that I am fixing and happened to see this ebay auction while searching : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-S2000-...20999291691%26 .
Can't go wrong with OEM.
