back from the dead..

i emailed them and they said they drilled the bracket on the brembo and replaced it with threads that will fit a 12mm bolt which is the one used on the s2000s. the bolt and thread size on this kit is 14mm. once that is done they said it just bolts right up.

i found the calipers for a good price and if i'm able to find a wheel and make the caliper fit. the caliper seems to be bigger than the one offered from brembo for the s200s so making it fit will be interesting especially since i want to run 245 in the front. i will most likely have to roll my fenders now. i will post my results
who is they?

I am very interested in doing this.

i dont really want a big acura print on my calipers
i thought the same thing a year ago when i wanted to put TL calipers on mine...
do you think sanding it down and refinishing it would make it look the same as a diy caliper paint job on the stock calipers??

i really want those gold STi brembos...

Considering the price, if this works out I might consider the upgrade as well. Red brakes are ballin' in black wheels
esp on time attacks

Anyone see the Red Brembos on the Civic Type-R? They are 12.8inch diameter if memory serves me right, so that is slightly bigger than our S's. Would those work on the S?

hmm interesting... but would any of these sets be any better than the s2000 calipers performance wise? ...not as much brake fade?

More info: Basically, the brakes fit with no problem on the S2000 bracket. The only thing required it drilling out the holes on them to allow the larger bolts from the TL calipers to fit. As stated above, the only reason these calipers would not work for my car is due to the fact that I am not willing to give up my NSX wheels. I'm sure they will fit with the right wheel/offset combination.
Quoted from another ebay auction.

I'm emailing the guy to see what offsets he had on his wheels that wouldn't allow it to fit.

edit: also it seems that the non A-spec TLs have the Brembos too. Looks like it just needs to be a 04-06 with MT.
Happy junkyard hunting.
