Default Built f20 wanted

Hey guys, I'm new to the site but I'm in need of help. I'm trying to locate a built shortblock or longblock f20 for my car. I'd prefer one with low miles (obviously) and no mechanical issues. Can anyone help!!???

Why do you need a built F20? These engines come from the factory with forged rods, forged aluminum pistons, reinforced bottom end, and cams that flow enough to support 800hp. Unless you're boosting it passed 650hp, you're just wasting your money on a built motor.

I will indeed be boosting past 650. But the bottom line is, I have to either 1) purchase a new/used f20 at $4000, 2) have my block rebuilt at $3500, or 3) buy an already built one at $3500-4500 so why not buy an already built one and drop it in since mine will hafto come out anyway??? Do the math, I know the numbers a factory motor can produce, I have a friend with a twin charged f20 pushing 735+ on a stock motor so I do know what they are capable of, however I'm paying out the same either way so I may as well go built since I am force inducted.

I don't think it'll be that easy to find a built F20C. Why don't you build it yourself?

It would be a better option to do it yourself if you're not in a hurry too.

I will still hafto pay a machine shop to do most of the work, ie: hone it, press in the sleeves, etc. so by the time I do that, plus purchase parts the cost will be the same. If you subtract any potential error I may make, it'd be easier to have it done and know its exactly right for the same price.

It's possible that you would have to spend more than four thousand on a built motor that could withstand so much horsepower to maintain better reliability. I knew some guy that was boosting his S to about 800 hp and his motor was a fully built f20c at about eight grand.
