Used the Gernby tune you'll get with minimal effort and minimal cost. I left the OEM calibration alone until that process was done. Took a couple of Saturdays based on my schedule. Worth the time spent.

+1 for Gernby. You won't find a better mod for your car...his tuning skills are top notch and at a price that can't be beat.

In the process of this myself. Cost is $99. He will send you 7 different calibrations which each require 3 data logs. So 21 "pulls" in total. He makes tweaks, typically sends you a few more calibrations for testing, couple more tweaks and then you have a custom tune for your specific vehicle, elevation, climate, etc.

In the meantime you can load the Toda Tune. Thats what i'm running. Gernby refers to it as the "test pipe" tune.

Yep, that's the procedure. You don't do anything until you get the diagnostic calibration set.

None of the calibrations Gernby sends are driveable. They' diagnostic tunes are only loaded for the short period of time it takes to make the 3 pulls or runs after which you save the data and load the next one and make 3 runs until you've gone thru all 21 (or more). Put the OEM tune back in the ECU. You'll be emailing back 7 data files which he'll analyze and send another set of 7. Takes maybe 3 sets of data. You'll get a Final Tune at the end of the process.

Took me 3 weekends for this but it was all my delay, not his. Return data came the same day sometimes.

Unless hondata fixed the tables in the knock ignition limit high tables do not use this tune. You WILL hear audible pinging at high loads in low rpm.
