I guess I'm a nerdy engineer, but as I was reading this, a quick Idea popped into my head.


You can use a vent similar to something in your second picture. Then use a Cervo for RC airplanes. Attach the cervo to the vent with a connecting rod and rig up a circuit to control open and close position of the cervo.

I'd actually be a pretty easy project to take on. I say give it a shot.
