yeah im still confused. There is nothing plastic that i can see under the hood. Dunno if you mean the heat covering on the oem hood....there is nothing on the underside of my MG hood except the fiberglass skeleton.

Now when you say patient you just mean adjusting it correct? I mean if thats all then thats fine but I dont want it to be short on one side or some non sense like that.

yeah you just need to play around with all the bolts and the hood latch assembly. it wasn't a bad hood in that the dimensions were off. it just took a lot of work to get it to sit right. i DID however see a TS hood that just didn't line up with the fenders on either side, but it might've been because the guy had aftermarket fenders, too.

Then im fine with that, i expect that with any aftermarket hood.

seibon mg style on mine, 9 out of 10. hood support rubs map sensor, dremeled out a square for it. hood prop hole not big enough, dremel solution here too. gap in front along bumper, not major. had mind on for about a year. seems fine to me.
