Thumbs up Cheaper alternative to BBK?

If Im not mistaken there is a JDM 5 lug integra. And they do make BBK for them. But as you know as soon as something is associated with an S2000 the price skyrockets!!

But as long as the BBK for the teg' is a 5x114.3 offset, then in theory shouldnt it work???

The caliper mount points are probably not the same. Just a guess though.

Why dont you make your own? All it takes is a little bit of intelligence...

This is the kit I came up with which uses Wilwood. It keeps the stock rotor btw.

2 x WIL-120-6805 - Brake Caliper, Dynalite, Aluminum, Black Anodized, 4-Piston
WIL-220-6860 - Brake Lines, Stainless Steel Braided, Flexline, Front
2 x WIL-250-6289 - Caliper Mounting Bracket, Replacement, Billet Aluminum
WIL-15B-3991K - Brake Pads, PolyMatrix B Compound, Semimetallic, Front/Rear, Universal, Set

These are all Summit Part Numbers and come out to : $503.06 before shipping and any tax.

So, with the $11.95 shipping and handling charge it would be $515.01 for a Wilwood 4-Piston BBK that uses STOCK calipers.

I would really love to see this done, however I have doubts that it would be as simple as your making it sound. I'm pretty sure its going to take some kind of fabrication, even with the mounts, to get the caliper to sit perfect both vertically and side to side.

Also its not really a big brake kit if your just changing the calipers, and the calipers would no longer be stock.
