Clutch system installed...Competition Clutch Ultra Light Flywheel, 6 puck sprung, and pressure plate. Still in the break in period, but I really like the set up...it goes when you want it to go, like a sports car should. There is noticable difference with the flywheel in the revs up and down. The pedal pressure is lighter than I anticipated, but I can live with it. Also added a puddy mod 4.57 rear...and of course it just rocks!

About 500 miles on my exedy kit plus ACT pro lite flywheel and everything is still in order. I haven't beat the piss out of it yet, but I did do an autocross. My only concern so far is that the pedal feel is too soft, too air-y. I'll update this post once I'm fully fully broken in and have given the clutch a proper beating.

Any comments on the clutchmasters FX100 or the SPEC Stage 1?My CC decided to kill itself after less than a year of being installed.

Could i maybe run the CC PP with an OEM Clutch Disk??

Yeah Spec clutchs are not even on the list! The Stage 2 and 3 Plus look pretty good. Anyone every use them? How do they feel and hold? See this link:

Anybody for Spec Clutches Stage 1, 2, or 3? Their info says Stage 1 will do 340 ft/lbs of TQ... That is way more than anyone else Stage 1 or 2.

OK, everything has been broken in...and used hard. This is a real good set up for me, I do not have to drive in bumper to bumper since I live in a smaller town. The clutch is pretty much go or don't go. It takes a bit more thought or concentration than a stock clutch...no slipping to get going. The flywheel has made a huge difference, rev up and down is much more abrupt, before install I was concerned about the car stalling on the down, but that has not happened. Rev matching is easier due to quick rev's...just a blip of the throttle and you are good to go. I must also put in a comment about the rear, I went with the 4.57 gears and again before install was concerned that shifting would be similar to rowing a canoe, but again I was wrong. It has really made going through the gears a real treat. Hope this helps some of you with your decision.

Another update on the Exedy + ACT Prolite flywheel. Several thousand miles on it now. Haven't had a single issue. The flywheel is the perfect weight. Just a little lighter than stock AP1, makes any sort of rev matching just the easiest thing ever without being at all annoying.

Oem clutch with ACT hd pressure plate is the best IMO. Unless you are making a ton of power. I have been using that for a couple of years and 35-40k miles at over 400whp with no slipping and drives exactly like stock.

Zero nise or anything since it is an oem clutch. I am using the stock ap1 flywheel as well.
