Ok, couple things. I just got off the phone with SOS and they had a few things that may influence your choice in FW's. If you're going to run NA, the ultralight is a more suitable choice(versus tc or sc). They say that the car will rev/accelerate faster. But, they also said the revs drop fast too which could even stall the car at a stop:/ although that may not be frequent, that would be real annoying IMO. I also didn't realize that choosing a ultra light translates into less torque...something a Honda really shouldn't let slide. In terms of drivability they said it is not difficult at all. I was glad to hear this as it seems ppl are very cautious about FW's under 10lbs. Secondly, if you're going to boost the car, the ultralight is not recommended as it is more difficult to manage. Sounds like the car would get a lil buck wild.

I didn't read through the replies because I have no doubt there are plenty of them that bash the ACT. But know this - my ACT HDSS has been on the car for 3 years, over a year and a half of that the car has had over 400whp. Never had one single solitary issue. I am also running the Fidanza 9lb (or 8 I can't remember) flywheel with no issues as well.

If it can handle FI, it will do fine on N/A

If you have a supercharger, a lighter flywheel is good because of less drivetrain friction loss. For Turbo, yes, I would agree heavier would help because it would keep the inertia on gear shifts and spool.

Also, don't think that the SOS clutch is 100% noise-less. A couple of locals have buzz and they are not very happy with the pedal feel either.

Another factor is installation. Noise can come from under/over greasing various parts and attention to detail (torque specs, dirt, etc.)

My Centerfoce w/ACT 8.6lbs flw feels perfect as far as pedal hardness. I have no issues in traffic. Initial grab is just right where you can drive it as if it were stock on low rpms. The part I like most is almost all jerkiness from shifting is completely eliminated.

Well I do not think we are bashing the ACT, just that after trying a few clutches out there... there are better ones that require less paddle effort and less noise.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my ACT HTG clutch & flywheel combo, just that I wish theres less noise and require less paddle effort like the SOS sport.

Just had my SOS sport clutch installed. (OEM flywheel, machined.) It drives very similar to stock. My old clutch needed adjusting and was engaging when the pedal was waaaay out from the floorboard, so the biggest change for me is having a properly adjusted clutch that engages within 1" of pedal travel. Aside from that, nothing to report because it works fine. Seems very "normal". Actually makes the car seem more responsive because it hooks up so quick.
