Not a single issue to speak of. I actually love it, pretty quite, and rev's crazy fast making heel toe very easy on track. I'm really not saying they are all junk. That being said you seem to be a rarity in the community, not the standard.

Update: I spoke with CC today, and I'm basically SOL because they want me to send back the entire kit ( I can't because I used the PP ) so they can see it for them selfs what went wrong. They told me that discounts on new parts would have been available, and possibly a full refund of purchase price.

IMHO I think they wanted to take the part back, say it was the fault of the installation that their parts don't fail. Offer me some discount on new stuff (witch I wouldn't buy) all of this happening 6 moths down the road when they were done "inspecting" it. I did offer to send them just the disk as it was the only faulty part, but they said they needed the whole thing. Whats kills me is I have the original clutch that had 70,xxx miles on it sitting next to the CC with maybe 10k on it and the stock one is perfect. It's all BS but lesson learned.

Car is back together and running great. Just have to put some miles on her before the weekend autocross.

I could be wrong about the company, but who has the time to have their cars down for any length of time. What if I didn't work at a shop or have the money to fix it. I daily drive my car it's my only car, how long would I have to sit around for them to get back to me. Bottom line is I don't have the time, or really the money for bad/cheaply manufactured parts CC has a good reputation so I trusted them.

Sorry for the rant, I'm still pretty pissed.
Honestly you should have sent it back to them. Ill never use them again for a clutch but Ive been though about 6 of their clutches, various stages, and they have replaced half of them, ones that I knew was no fault of my own/ flywheel incorrectly surfaced. They didn't say anything or really ask questions, but since then I've switched back to the factory disc and pressure plate. Ive even had them go out after 2000 miles!

Some things Ive noticed on a side note though just use and ACT pressure place and factory disc. Someone said the factory disc is expensive but they are only $118, you should be keeping an extra on hand and if it goes bad you won't really need anything else, except new bearings Ive been through that before changed all but the bearings and then the bearing fails, you can actually get them from Advanced and you'll save tons of money but the funny thing is when they hand them to you they are actually in honda packaging.

Yeah I would have sent it back, but I needed my car, it's good to know about the advanced bearings though.

I'm replacing the pilot bearing in my competition flywheel. Can I use an oem one to replace it?

Wow, sorry to hear OP. The OE disc/ACT PP is extremely popular for these cars and I think this shows why. I would definitely reach out to CC about the warranty.
