Not sure why he's got the headlight funnel...

Here's the full article, showing the car with the headlight funnel. http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f.../photo_02.html

Pretty neat article..

I guess he just has the vent to keep the engine bay temps down under hard running conditions.. And it looks pretty wicked too!!

Thanks for finding the article guys! Unfortunatley they don't really go into any kind of detail about the scoop (i wouldn't expect them too). They did a really nice job on that, it looks amazing. My only worry is sealing it off after making the cut and what to use exactly. I don't have much experience with plastics. I think i would buy some kind of small air duct or plastic tube and slip it into the cutout and threw the other side. Clean up the outside the best i can marking where it needs to be trimmed up and then seal it off. Not sure how good the finish will be when im done with it

Looking at that image a bit closer... I can see using a straight piece of 3" pipe, drilling through the headlight completely. Inserting the pipe, tracing the shape of the headlight to the exterior, trimming the pipe, then sealing....

Maybe heavy modification to one of these...

I am interested in tackling such a project and thought of something like this just the other weekend when working on the car... I am looking into the cost to get a single headlight right now... Targeting a passenger side but going to look if I can modify the intake to be shorter and use the drivers side... The thought is that will keep the warm air from the rad from blowing across the intake... hrmmmm....

I have a friend that has a friend that works at a salvage yard trying to see about picking one up through him...

A single factory from a dealer is $400+.... Body shop friend might be able to help also.

I also check Evasive-motorsports and didn't see anything, but I'm really interested in knowing where to get this headlight scoop. By looking at the article pictures it seems like he didn't cut or work on the headlight, looks like he bought the headlight like that.
