I agree it looks like they made there own mold for the lense and everything, very clean.

So i did a little more digging and found that Evasive worked with Voltex a company out of Japan for the cars entire Aero kit. I am assuming they are the ones responsible for the headlight but i could be wrong.

Just got off the phone with Evasive. They actually did this in house unfortunatley its not as nice as you think. They just cut out the high beam and the lense and left it as is. There is no tube running through so the rest of the headlight is exposed to weather. The guy stated the car was not in there possesion atm so he couldn't take any pictures of it. So it looks like we are on our own.

I think i would use something like this to make the scoop in the headlight. Or just clear plastic tube if i could find it.

Sorry hate blind links for pics

Yeah you can see from the pic they just cut out the light...

I think you could accomplish the same thing but make it seal using the method I described above, it would take a bit of time to get the clear part fitted right but would look good after... probably could go to HD or Lowes and get a 3" black PVC (I know it is called something else) pipe and do it up. I originally thought you would need a NACA duct like you linked but it would be to large and you don't need that if you match the headlight cover to the inside pipe.

Wow yea just noticed that, where in the F&#K is it going?? Maybe to the cabin...

Ugh why are headlights so pricy!?

Another question would be can you pass inspection with (1) high beam?

Edit: Talked to my mechanic a little while ago and he said it would not pass inspection with only 1 high beam. This is a set back but i guess you could swap in the origional for inspetion if you wanted. I am still planning to create this if i can find a passenger side headlight for a decent price. As far as getting ticketed for this you would probably have to have your high beam on for them to realize something isn't right.

I remember reading that the headlight duct on the Evasive car is plumbed to the intake manifold, where it dumps cool air on the metal surface of the manifold to cool it and thus cool intake temps. This ducting can be seen in that last photo. Dunno what the guy on the phone was talking about, but it definitely does/did have a purpose

The scoop definitely has purpose. What I didn't like about it was the fact that the rest of the light isn't sealed.

Any update on the headlight scoop? Other than the purpose of the scoop I think it looks unique as well
