Question:
What intake setup is everyone running? Is everyone interested in this for intake feed or other purposes? It would just be cool to know everyones reason for this modification.

I will be using this for intake feed as the topic title states. I have a custom K&N FIPK setup that i will take a picture of when i get out of work.;.. once my new filter is on that arrived today

prm is perfect for custom ducting, eventually i'll route my prm to the faux brake hole on the ap1 passenger side, it's a lot easier than going through the headlight hole, when i first saw this thread i thought the op was going to remove the headlight all together and make a funnel to an intake in the opening, do a custom fiberglass to the shape of the hole for racing or something...

Aok,

This would be more efficient, to make the entire space a scoop. I am just interested in keeping at least a low beam.

Pretty basic setup. I can see extending the scoop through the headlight being a challenge. I want it too look mint!

Oh wow... It looks like it is a very simple project!

I wonder what he used to make that perfect round hole?

Most likely a hole saw BUT saying that the headlight bulb mount I believe has a round ring around it to protect it so you could follow that with a dremel. I do think it is interesting that the reflector is still shiny. If I do this I would remove/paint the reflector.

I agree. Removing or painting the reflector black would look better IMO. This is why i want to remove the lense all together giving me more room to work. Is baking the unit the best way to remove the lense?
