Light in! I got a complete assembly plus a 2nd lens to replace the one already on the light that is crazing on the upper edge.

Initial inspection, it looks as though the high beam reflector is inserted into the light so you maybe able to remove it without having to cut it! But once I start to dig into how I am actually going to do the modification that may change...

I need to order my duct work and decide how I am going to pass through the light with a 3" pipe or a 4" pipe then stepped down to a 3" for connecting the intake.

Hey I don't know if you guys are still interested in the Evasive car but I actually snapped a few pictures of it at homecoming last year. I kinda wish I took better pictures of it now lol.

Hopefully these are useful. I have a larger sized picture if you guys need o_O

^thanks!

Those actually help me a bit. I can get an idea on size of the cut out by understanding how big their hole is in comparison to the rest of the headlight with those closer shots to help figure out how to recreate and have sealed headlight.

I applaud you for your efforts on this. However, there is a significant design flaw with your implimentation of the hose. If you actually get much flow through the hose from a headlight duct, then the end of your filter will get very dirty very quickly. It is clear from the pictures above that the filter media at the end is a very small percentage of the total. Basically, you'll have the most dirty air going to the smallest portion of filter media.

Honestly, it seems that the best intake hardware for a setup that connects to the headlight would be something that has a totally enclosed filter chamber like the PRM, and gets ALL of its air from a sealed duct that connects to the headlight.

For the PRM yea the headlight scoop is perfect for an FIPK setup like mine its just an added bonus, most of the air comes up from the front of the car. Although the PRM might have less heat soak with this setup because the filter is not somewhat exposed (like mine). Either way you probably wont notice a difference :\ I just think it looks cool and no one has really done it the way we plan to
