Thanks , Pictures tomorrow of my set-up complete, I have a few things I want to do tonight and the morning to finish it up.

As far as bugs go, I plan on cleaning the filter way more often now, but also considered at least a window type screen some where in the lead up to the filter but no plans as of yet.

Drove the car this morning to work, IATs are down for sure and butt dyno says it pulls harder above 60... Probably should have done some soft dyno runs after all!

As I drove I realized that I probably should do the coolant bypass as part of this change to help reduce IAT temps further so i will be picking up the pieces to do that also.

Installation? Check!

Logging and analysis? Check!

Results of the logging and analysis can be found here: https://www.s2ki.com/...affect-on-iats/

How the car ended up! (I need to tweak the bumper and fender a bit next time I get it up on stands)

I adjusted the intake to make the ducting the straightest possible shot into the intake only one bend

Thanks!

Had a little drive with some friends yesterday and the feedback from all was positive, once they noticed it!

No worries my friends think I am crazy too for cutting up a headlight.

I actually thought the car was louder but thought it was just because I changed something.... Well my wife unsolicited asked why the car was louder I do think it changed it a bit but not hugely.

I havent given up if anyone was wondering! lol

Got my clear inserts in the other day. I plan to clean the lense really well tomorrow and possibly stick it together. After that its just sealing up the tube. I have decided to buy some thin stainless mesh to cover the hole on the very outside of the lense. Mainly so bugs dont get past the initial hole staining the clear tube. Can only imagine how much of a pain it would be to clean it. Once the mesh is secure I will finish it with a "elipse" cut from a rubber sheet using the lense as a template to clean it all up.

Yup, bug puree that is what you'll get with the mesh. That will be easy to clean up. Most bugs(body) hit at 70+ mph will turn to puree.
