Right. I was using the part number listed in the first post (72410-S2A-023), as the example. When I pull it up, I get the price I stated.

i thought to remove these molding you would push down on the molding and kinda roll it out to release the clips. at least this is how i use to remove other honda outer belt moldings

OK, I think that yesterday I was too fed up with polishing and waxing that I didn't have enough patience to deal with the trim. I tried again today and it went in after trying for 5 minutes.

Thanks for all of your help guys.

My 09 is showing a little cracking so I purchased a new set a few months ago before the part train leaves the station for good. I am going to wait a few more years before installing.

Bumping this DIY post as my MY2000 needed a new left driver's side molding. I had a hella time at first trying to get the old clips out, and was worried about
damaging the paint or window.
Of six clips, one must have gone into the Twilight Zone cause when i pulled up the driver's side door molding, it came up and the five clips were still in the door!

There is a trick that worked for me to get the old clips out easier, some easier than others. You DO NOT have to remove the door panel to get out the clips if you can pull off this trick.

Looking down at the door there are three teeth almost like the sights of a gun. (For you gun fanatics)
Two on the outside of the door and one on the inside. The trick is to pull up on the clip first, so you hear a "click" and see the three teeth,
then you must firmly grasp and yank it up. You may need to push or pull the clip forward or backward so the clip teeth are clear of the hole in the door.
See photos below.

Attachment 73515

Attachment 73516

One of the clips already had the teeth showing, so i grabbed it and slightly pried a small flat head screwdriver (be careful of your window) and it popped out with little resistance.
I probably should have grabbed my needle nose, but I was able to get all five clips out using no more than fingernails, strength, and the screwdriver.
I would rather this than have broken plastic bits bouncing around inside the door...
This post saved me tons of frustration. Made this replacement a five minute job. Thanks for the clip removal tip, it worked exactly how you described
