I thought of spray adhesive, but if there was any reason I wanted to remove it I would not be able too. Figured the way I did it will make it removable. If things get loose I can just unwrap it and do it again

Good job on the install! I usually take the original cover off as the new one sticks better to the plastic. Also, a tip about the door sticking. When you have the pad upside down, you'll notice a plastic ridge towards the front. This is more or less a high water mark for the door. You should trim any material just before it and not have any go over the ridge (like the oem leather). This way the door doesn't snag on anything.

I need to get that and my inner door panels wrapped in alcantera.

No, just plastidip. Gonna take it off (been too lazy) and get the pieces actually painted red
