yep, not needed for ap2 but ap1 definitely.
That is one of the many ap2 myths. They are not needed for any s2k. I have an ap1 and have been lowered for 4yrs...I swapped my inner CV buckets and have never had spacers.

AP2s suffer from the same problem that causes vibration from lowering as the AP1. It is related to mileage on the CV buckets. When the problem first started to appear, only AP1s had the miles on them to see the vibration...as AP2s have become older, they are seeing the vibration too.

Every scenario is going to be different, if you relate it to millage i have done much at all its a 2000 model and done about 40,000 miles & now getting vibration, which i think maybe due to running more camber when put my new wheels on.

Could running more neg camber add to the prob?

Camber will not affect the too much of the ride height so the amount will not be enough to cause the driveshaft to wear.

Take a look at this post of mine from another thread. It shows what is causing the vibration. The more miles on the car the more distinct the wears spot shown in the thread will be...the higher the miles on the car when you lower, the more pronounced the onset of the vibration will be.

The T1R Driveshaft spacers came in the other day, just got them installed.

What an improvement, its about 80% gone, there is still a slight vibration at very high revs but i cant believe the difference it has made, feel allot smoother now.
