Default Electrical prob....HELP

Okay so in the pass month i've been having a electrical problem. Everything i plug sumthing in the my ac 12v power outage, my headunit turns off unless i unplug the item from the ac 12v. Sumtimes my head unit will come back on but most of the time it won't unless i unplug 12v. I tightened up the 12v cause it was a little loose, but still has the same effect. Any ideas what this could be. Thanks.

Does this happen with the same device you plug into the outlet? If so, try a different device. If the same thing happens, it would be interesting, specially if all other electrical accessories stay on.

First, it is DC 12V!

This is strange, what is the power rating for your device? I think it should not draw more than 10 Amps of current.

Maybe your alternator/rectifier are defective. Means it cannot supply enough power to the car and the voltage drops well below 12 Volts.

Yeah i even pluged in my phone, and it continues to do the same thing. I dont think its my alternator. My car only has 23k miles on it. Its to early for that type of problem.
