Exhaust
people find bolt on mods as a challenge for gains. I personally think NA mods is more challenging than Turbo mods. Its all about preference guys, if you want to have a faster car in straights and turns then get something else besides a s2000.
S2000 is perfect the way it is and NA mods makes it much more raw in my taste. I like turbo cars to but not on a s2000. Well back to the topic, for exhausts I would recommend 2.75in or 3inch size for NA or turbo mods.
He can spend his money however he wants with any build

spend ur money on suspension and driving classes so u can make the car faster with ur improved driving skills. shave off weight from ur car and when you think u finally mastered ur car u can do NA or turbo mods since u already know how to handle the car stock at full potential. Good luck.

yeh go w/ 2.75-3 inch exhaust. berk technology has a good deal on 3" exhaust but it's a little out of taste as far as sounds go for me.
OP stated he wanted it to pull like his GTO and be able to run 12's
No NA bolt ons will do that. Maybe a 2.7L stroker but even then it won't. It's either FI or don't bother trying to get it to that level.

I know that in this case the questions of, "How do I make my S2000 faster?" has been asked a million times so the frustration by former members is understandable.
However, I find it very annoying when people ask questions on this forum and former members simply bash them with, "Search."
True, there are many posts related to the topic, but many of these posts are extremely outdated as our cars started production more than 10 years ago. There are posts about the best exhaust posted in 2005, but new products could be available now.
I am not a member on this forum but I have been on this forum almost everyday since I first got my S2000. And honestly, our search engine is not too effective.
Suzuka was actually kind enough to direct OP in a direction and also give his feedback about the question. I just understand the OP's frustration and I hope members on here would stop simply saying, "Search."

Good times. But no 12 second cars at all. Mid 13's is about the fastest people get with bolt on s2k's. That I have seen at least.
i'm just letting the op know that it's very doable to get low 13's like his gto. he did state that's what he wanted out of the S.
