Might help, can't hurt and cheap enough to consider installing one on your car. A stiffer front end may have side benefits such as less prone to rattles under the hood possibly an aid in negating damage in a side impact, the slight bling factor, whats not to like?

Pretty much all bling. Especially the multi piece ones. There's a huge cross member brace already.
If you want to stiffer up the front go with a sway bar for some very noticeable improvements.
I used to have a stb looks good and nice to lean on. Noticed zero performance from it though.

I was considering this. I have an oil drain valve though. Does the heat shield block access to the valve or oil filter reaching down from the top? Any noticable effect from the head shield?

I have a Comptech one and really don't notice too much of a difference with it on or off. I had a neuspeed one before but got the comptech one after I got the CTSC to clear it. It helps with support when working in the engine bay. I have the neuspeed for sale if ur interested

A tighter fit but really no problem with the fumoto or oil filter.

I have a glad fab bar installed. My hardtop doesn't squeak anymore. It seems like the car rides smoother over uneven roads.

I liked my s2x strut bar. It seemed to feel better during the corners. Not bad for 200. I'm not sure if I would spend 700 on an asm bar

If you look underneath where the strut would be, youll find a giant beam, far more chassis bracing

The do make the engine bay look nicer, and they come in handy as arm rests when doing work in the engine bay. They might give you a bit more bracing in a front end collision, but I've never felt much of a handling difference and I've used several different bars on my ap1.

you could always get a asm front x bracing one for like 100 bucks shipped on egray or if you want baller status just get a titanium one then your not really adding weight and getting stiffer if needed.

im sure it probably helps or dumb dumbs wouldnt add it to their expensive ass race cars unless their sponsor whoring =D
