Front sway bar upgrade?
I recently purchased a stock 2007 S2000 w/Volks CE28n 17x7.5, 17x8.0 running 225x45 and 255x40 street tires. Car is great but it has more roll than I'm used to in a performance car. After reading several posts and seeing the suspension changes from year to year it looks like I could help the handling a little by just upgrading the front bar to either an 2008 frt bar (354 #/ft) or an Eibach (368 #/ft). I'm not trying to make a race car, just a little better in the twisties.
Question 1). Would simply upgrading the front bar help the handling?
2) Do the 2008's handle much better than the 2007 ( 2008 has slightly higher frt/rr spring rates and front sway bar, but rear bar is the same)?
3) Will going from a 300 #/ft front bar to either the 354 or 368 #/ft front bar induce a lot of push (street driven only on Bridgestone RE11A) using the stock rear bar?
4) The Eibach rear bar seems huge compared to stock and probably wouldn't match well with the oem spring/shock rates, IMO. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The 2006 - 2007 S200 have the softest springs and sway bars of any model years. While the ride is quite nice (06 -07), the car is a little "sloppy" in transition and has some roll. I'm thinking that a 368 #/ft frt and possibly the CR rear bar with 362 #/ft might be a good balance and without trading off much ride quality. Just not sure how the S2000 responds to sway bar changes.
Roll IMO isn't a "bad" thing. I found my track times were faster with a little roll/softer suspension.

Also lowering the center of gravity and stiffer springs will help with body roll.
I'd start with coil overs and move up from there.

Front sway bar will create more under steer not oversteer.
Our adjustable front sway bar will be available shortly! I love having a front sway bar on the car. Night and day difference. I have an AP1 which is more prone to oversteer than ap2.

I agree with the addition of coil overs to start. A bit lower and stiffer will certainly reduce the roll. Don't think the sway bar is going to make as big a difference in roll as coil overs. If your style of driving need some additional understeer (ie you sling the back end out a lot), then the sway bar will help eliminate that issue.

I have an 06 with coilovers, 245's square and an Eibach FSB. Ill say the Eibach FSB made a bit of change in that the car just felt tighter whenever I turned. Although, its not as night and day as it would be with a Saner or Gendron, Im sure. When I was on Tein springs and stock shocks, it was a little "rolley" but nothing that would make me seriously complain. Peruse the autocross threads in the suspension section. Youll find a lot of info to scope your inquiry.
