I swapped an oem glass top onto my 2001 s2k a while back but I am having issues with rain water entering the trunk. It seems to me that the rain rail must not have been riveted into place correctly or is misaligned. To make a long story short I am looking for a mechanic or savvy individual who would be willing to fix this for me as I no longer have the time to play mechanic. Car is currently in NJ and I am located in tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT). Please PM me with an estimate (time and fee).

Have you found exactly where the water is coming in from? If it's coming in near the spare tire, maybe it is a top issue. If you're feeling moisture in the trunk itself, it maybe the square vent flap that's behind the bumper. That's an easy fix w/ silicone sealant.
