Default Hard top frustration

So i bought a duraflex hardtop for my '02 s2000. The company i ordered from assured me that it had everything i needed to install it except for a back glass. The top comes in and its just a top with no install hardware. so i call extreme dimensions to figure out whats up. They told me that i had been lied to and that they were sorry to hear about it. So now i am in need of install hardware for my extreme dimensions duraflex hard top. Can anyone point me in the right direction? And if its an aftermarket hard top can an oem hard top install kit be used on it? thanks for any help.

Their website says it comes with a "Hardware Kit" which I would assume to be some off-quality mounting hardware. I would aruge/complain/return if they didn't send me what their website states.

This is posted in the wrong section; a mod will end up moving this to the Modifications and Parts section or you can re-post it there. There are plenty of threads concerning hardtops and the available hardware options. Many companies make aftermarket hardware kits (Rockstar Garage, Forbidden, etc). OEM hardware can also be used but is expensive and probably out of your price range.

just return it, that duraflex is crap! my friend bought one and we live in california where the summers are over 100 degrees the top started warping it was aweful. better to just get FRP or CRF. and yes VIS, Forbidden USA, or RSG garage are pretty reputable tops.

I just went through a TON of headaches getting my hardtop and avoiding exactly this, I had read a ton of stories just like yours and product descriptions always seem purposely vague to the point that you don't get what you need.

I got mine from Rockstar Garage and they were AWESOME, they sell a hardware kit with their hardtop and might sell one to you. I got a FRP mugen style top. The company was great to work with, if you send this thing back and get a refund or anything I would HIGHLY recommend calling them, it was a great experience (until it got to the body shop anyway, but that's another story).

Contact Rockstar Garage, They might be able to help you as some or all of their molds come from Extreme dimensions and they work with them directly. Or so I've heard... Goodluck with it though
