Hard top
Installation and uninstall is fairly straight forward and requires the removal of a number of interior panels. Only the OEM hardtop has a rear defroster, so depending on the year of your car, the parts and steps vary. All aftermarkewt top install the same way, with the exception of the Spoon HT.
Now to remove or install it once the initial install has been complete, is a snap. Open the Windows, push the seats forward, unlatch the front latches (same as the softtop) and unlatch the rear latches. Then lift. It takes two people to remove it. Not for weight, but for size.

The only HT that might be more of a pain than others have mentioned would be the Mooncraft (Spoon) it does not use side catchers it uses fixed brackets (may need more adjustments, but should be easy) and then you have the hatch area to deal with. I have personally never installed one so I dont know for sure
It should go fairly smoothly if you at least a little mechanically inclined
