Default Header question please help me out

I have purchased a test pipe, brand new invidia q300 exhaust. I was thinking about purchasing this header(pic below). Is it worth it to go through the trouble of installing it? What would be the benefit or drawback?
Also I can buy the header for $200. Is it worth it?
Thank you.

I'm with Adam on this, the OEM header is better than most aftermarket ones.

Me three. I have been researching headers for weeks now and decided to stay OEM. A 200 dollar header will be more trouble than it's worth (i.e cracked welds, corrosion, and fitment issues). I reviewed many headers at all price points.Having an Indycar background I was particularly interested in the sequential pairing concept. Looks like Hytech figured it out. But too much money for me. As peviouly stated unless you want to drop 1-1.5K don't waste your time.

You may even loose power. When I did my SC setup I looked for a header but my timer told me to stick with OEM since he has seen cheaper ones loose power over OEM.

i decided on a PLM a few years ago...i did back to back dyno runs after the swap and gained 5 hp throughout the mid range of the power band...ill see if i cant dig up the old dyno sheets...needless to say i was impressed with a sub $500 header

ive heard good things about PLM. its lightweight and there has been some significant gains. look for gernbys thread i think he has something there. you can also argue that you can just shave the OEM header to save the weight. id personally use the money for a flash pro or what ever the equivalent is for your car if you have an ap1 im guessing VAFC.
