My friends AP2 hit 240whp off of TP and Exhaust and Intake ALONEno tune orVAFC...think about it buddy
That's crazy larry!
what type of dyno was it? on a dynapack this sounds very reasonable.
I just want to make sure we are all referencing the same type of dyno since they can vary by so much.
I'm 230hp on a dynapack; 204hp on a mustang dyno.

Ohhh hmmm I dont have a defanite answer for that....I have to call the shop. I can t find the sheet : (
I know what I had Dynoed on Dynojet before and I was 214.9 without a TP ?
We had a Dyno day in miami and I got 220.3 I never asked what dyno it was though ? I didnt even look at the paper since I felt SUPERBAD when the BLue S2k dynoed 240 !
I will have to ask some locals...

I pulled 220.3 on a DynaMAX...according to my local S2kers.
My last pull on Dynojet netted me 214.9...so can we guesstamate with a TP ?
Where would i be at ?
WTF is Dynomax anyway...

A little close minded dont ya think.
S/C cost 3500 for a USED one with evrythign...that is if you can find a used one with everything.... most will not go lower then 3k and the are missing $300 fuel pump and some gauges and/or bolts. NEW is 4600. That is WITHOUT EMS... include EMS and your looking at 5300. NEW
I havent spent a dime on my ride...My ex female friends did.
For a good 2500 and maybe an extra 600 give or take you can easily be as fast as Srt-4 stage 1 , evos (while rolling in like 30 ) ,350z and others. total cost spent on mods was about 2k...and thats because I have a VAFC.
Maybe realistically speaking 3500 can get you J's headers/EMS nice Single....and still have money for tune ? 1200 J's heeder + 1300 EMS+600 exhaust...and the rest goes into tunning oh and the Testpipe.
BTW I spanked the new g37 by 2 cars from a 20 roll....kept it until 137mph..probably 134 since i disconnect my speedo calibrator.

Thanks, bro sounds good, yeah the brake kit (Wildwood) the rotors and pretty red calipers is 1,000, unless I can find just nice red calipers I will probably by the kit, I figure its 1,000.00 but looks very good, havent heard much about the Wildwood, anybody have any reviews, or any insight, thanks fellas......

Doesn't that pretty much sum up most of the crowd on this forum Larry?

Its just sometimes people have to stop listening to EVERYONE else..
I realise that I didnt pull 220 on Dynojet and I said it...but I did pull 214 on a dyno jet...so now add a TP and what do you think I got on dynojet 217??

I'm pushing 230whp on a Dyno Jet with a Tanabe concept G 60mm duel with test pipe, Stock header. I have other mods of course, but you don't need a 70mm to make this kind of power out of an F20. I feel the 60mm gives you better response and explosive midrange tq over the 70mm with the right supporting mods anyway.... I will be doing an updated dyno one of these days after I remove my injectors and have them cleaned. I'll post up a sheet for you guys. Ive spent under $2000 to make 40hp and 25-35tq? over a stock 01. I am utilizing a gear reduction of 4.33 through my tire sizing as well which for my output I feel it is perfect.
On most dry pavement I can spin my rear tires when Vtec kics in with just pushing the throttle down, no tricks or clutching. This in first gear in a strait line. I have tuned my car around a vtec engagement of 6100. Its a little problematic for the track but a hell of a lot of fun on the street. If I floor it on the highway in 5th I can still feel vtec kick in like 3rd on a stock Ap1. My car is far from smog legal though, this wouldn't be typical results otherwise. I don't run a pvc system, my two breathers at the intake are plugged. coolent lines plugged as well. She creates allot of vacuum and runs cool. I have tuned my car around it. She really has allot of response and tq. This is more why I want to get my dyno done again. I want to see my tq curve on this motor. I'd like to see what I could do if I could tune the timing too but I'm to cheep to go out and blow A grand on a EMS.

I'd say 217 is pretty conservative. You might be closer to 219. I never did a dyno with just a tp though, but from the magazines allot of the 4 bangers make 5 more hp.

It's been pretty well documented that Church's dyno reads very high. Stock ap2's usually show about 240hp on his dyno.
so yeah it reads high, but he's the best around at tuning. the hp / tq delta is what's important anyways. that's why we both posted our gains.
and for comparision, we both posted our dynos from logic which is a mustang dyno: a more realistic comparision of what is being put down on the street, hence the much lower numbers.
it's all relative. we're just trying to get the most comparitive information out there so there's no confusion.
