That's crazy larry!

what type of dyno was it? on a dynapack this sounds very reasonable.

I just want to make sure we are all referencing the same type of dyno since they can vary by so much.

I'm 230hp on a dynapack; 204hp on a mustang dyno.

I mean I can send you my dyno from this weakend showing my 2004 after tuning at 248.5 NA and with the Cat on the car this was on a dynopack. If I go to a mustang it would probably be around 210 maybe a little higher.

Remember guys Dynos are for tuning, not for bragging rights

Hey speaking of tuning, why is it that I see a lot of videos of motors blowin up during a dyno test?, when I get my S/C I am afraid to get it "tuned" for fear of having it on the dyno a few times, and blowing up......

improper maintainence on the engine before tuning.

You will be running your engine HARD for tuning. Extended redlining for multiple pulls. Just make sure you're fluids are at the proper levels, especially oil.

I've been on the dyno twice without problems, but my oil pressure was lower after tuning. I usually change it around 5000 mile intervals, this one was around 3500.

Just be aware, and you'll be ok.

Engines usually blow up on the dyno when not enough fuel is getting into the engine causing a lean condition, or too much timing advance, resulting in detonation. As long as your coolant temps and oil temps remain within the safe operating range, those are really the only 2 reasons things go kablooey...not saying they're the only reasons though. A dyno doesn't stress your car anymore than any other 4th gear redline pull you might attempt on the highway or backroad...
