A little close minded dont ya think.
S/C cost 3500 for a USED one with evrythign...that is if you can find a used one with everything.... most will not go lower then 3k and the are missing $300 fuel pump and some gauges and/or bolts. NEW is 4600. That is WITHOUT EMS... include EMS and your looking at 5300. NEW
I havent spent a dime on my ride...My ex female friends did.
For a good 2500 and maybe an extra 600 give or take you can easily be as fast as Srt-4 stage 1 , evos (while rolling in like 30 ) ,350z and others. total cost spent on mods was about 2k...and thats because I have a VAFC.
Maybe realistically speaking 3500 can get you J's headers/EMS nice Single....and still have money for tune ? 1200 J's heeder + 1300 EMS+600 exhaust...and the rest goes into tunning oh and the Testpipe.
BTW I spanked the new g37 by 2 cars from a 20 roll....kept it until 137mph..probably 134 since i disconnect my speedo calibrator.

Ok I have an 04
Going to order this stuff REALLY soon, so need all the help I can get, basically tell me if I am going wrong somwhere.
Spugen Exhaust (round Canister with burnt Titanium)
Megan Racing Header
AEM V2 Intake (the S isn't a daily driver so I wont drive it in puddles, or when it rains)
Maybe a "High-Flow cat" <--- is it really worth it?
Gears, I want to shorten them up just a bit, but don't want 5,500kRPM at 75mph (whats the best of both worlds? (where is the best place to get them?
Eibach 1'in drop
Wildwood Cross-drilled/slotted Rotors, with Red Calipers
Maybe a Lightweight Flywheel, not sure how much for the install, and if its worth it. (maybe I should do it when they put in the gears.....
I'll do wheels/front lip later down the road, but for now more interested in the engine bay....
This sound like a good start? Any advice besides driving school?
Thanks, any advice would be appreciated

2. Megan header - I like this header, and it's cheap.
3. AEM V2 - personally, I don't think any CAI is going to do much but change the tone of the engine...IMO there's really only one type of intake system that makes any real difference...see my avatar

4. high flow cat - I wouldnt sweat it until you have to replace your original cat. I only went with a TP when my cat separated from the housing and sheared off the secondary O2 sensor.
5. gears - gears are a good performance option for s2k's that stay N/A, unless you autocross...then you may have compromised performance by moving your shift points too much.
6. eibach - a good choice. I plan on going with a 1" drop myself.
7. wildwood rotors - I went with subzero crossdrilled/slotted rotors myself. They're OEM rotors that have been crossdrilled and slotted, then cryo treated to be 3x more resistant to wear/warping/cracking.
8. Lightweight flywheel - everyone that has one swears by it. I'm either going to go with a comptech or an ACT myself.
240whp NA is EXTREMELY hard to do, almost impossible without a stroker kit or ITB's.
most people struggle to see 220 or even 210 with full exhaust and intake. in your friends case it was probably just the dyno. but an N/A car will probably never see 240whp without doing some major work, and even if you somehow do reach 240whp a supercharged car will run away from you with ease.

I want to see your 220.3 HP dyno sheet with a list of all your mods. There is no way you get that number with only a 60 mm exhaust on a legitimate dyno.
I am at work...I have to go to JDM Motorsports here in miami.
It was done on Dyno day...
If I can get another copy then I will gladly give it to you, I have no need to impress you so hopefully you arent getting mad at me
BTW Dont say that there is NO way....you are not a ASE Certified Master mechanic nor are you an engineer for honda. soo yea
