Default Help With IAT's

Good day S2ki,

Just started data logging using my flash pro. I'm noticing some high IAT's. I'm new to the s2000 and not sure whats an average IAT for this car. I Live in the southwest. Today i did several data logs. 1st data log in the morning started with iat at 88f and rose to 95f. Another data log in the afternoon started at 100f and decreased to about 95f. Each data log was for about 10-15mins. After stopping and letting the engine cool for about 3 hours, the IAT still was at 100f after sitting for 3 hours. I started the car and the temp slowly started to decrease to 95f. I took some temps with an infrared thermometer and the temp of the K&N intake tube was at 100f so i know my sensor is reading properly, temp at the filter was 78f ambient temp was 71f. Ambient temp today during my logs was around 60f to 82f. Temperatures are listed in Fahrenheit.

I'm unsure if this is normal for the s2000 to retain heat like this? Is this normal of the K&N FIPK tube to retain heat like this also? Any input on iat's would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
