how to take tail lights apart? help!

Default how to take tail lights apart? help!

hey, everyone. I want to take my tail lights apart to give them a clean and im thinking of colour coding them.

i was wondering whats the best way to take them apart and can anyone advise me on a step by step process, and has anyone got pictures.

if they're anything like headlights i'd bake them in the oven to soften up the black adhesive and just take them apart.

Yeah i'm pretty sure its the same concept as the headlights, just the taillights are 10x harder to do since they will crack and break very easily. If you do this, do not force them hardly any or you will risk breaking the lens, then end up needing new taillights.

I best approach I have seen is to do the usual oven method, but keep reheating more often. Don't let it cool nearly as much.

The tails are extremely hard to get apart. Even headlight moders break them often. They are much more fragile than the headlights.
