It's usually not a good sign when your companies stock is trading at 0.21 cents.

Truly sad.
I remember I was a little disappointed with the editorial change from Jason to Carter. Don't know either I just remember being pretty satisfied with the content under Jason. Call me a neurotic sentimentalist, but I hate change. I didn't know Source Interlink was in that big of a hurt, still would like a response but, considering the circumstances, Ill be happy if the tuning culture survives in the current economy.

Bravo. Comments like this is what this thread is all about. My "perfectly good replica" statement was concerned with the fit and finish of some of the more reputable counterfeit shops being able to recreate pieces to original or sometimes better specs. This doesn't negate the illegality of the issue, just sways those with a slightly altered moral compass and/or thin wallets.
As far as legality is concerned, if my memory serves me correctly, the burden, unfortunately falls on the original manufacturer. Which as we all know can be a costly route when preserving originality of design.
The more I try and get my head around this, the more I see modifications or slight variations of the same design/ part.
I am looking forward to what PWJDM has in store for the S2000 community. I hope they don't get lost in the rush to make parts for Godzilla. Remember the little guys Steve.

However, that is no reason to pass the buck. Every time you buy a knock-off part, you are buying an illegal part. And this forum not only allows that to take place, but promotes it through allowing some of the sponsors here to promote and sell their knock-off parts on this website.
I think it is sad to see people justify knowingly buying illegal parts, or facilitating their sale, with immunity under the guise of "market competition." Take responsibility for your own actions.
Don't pat their back too hard... their first CF offerings were all knock off J's Racing Intakes. Know how many intake sales J's Racing, and its distributors have lost in the past 3-4 year because of items like these? I know i personally lost TONS of sales, as customer passed up the J's one and bought the knock off for less.
Passwords current ORGINAL product however looks to be great product so far from what ive seen, with good quality. keep on the right path!
